A tribute to Nathu Singh Negi: 30 years of devotion to BWI

BWI mourns the sudden passing of Nathu Singh Negi, Office Assistant at the BWI South Asia Office, on 20 January 2025, at the age of 54. He suffered a cardiac arrest, and despite the best efforts of the attending doctors, he could not be saved. His last rites were performed on 21 January 2025 in New Delhi, attended by close family and friends. He is survived by his wife and two sons.


Nathu Singh Negi was a polite, soft-spoken, and sincere individual who dedicated over three decades of service to the BWI South Asia Office. His long-standing association with the office fostered strong connections with affiliates across the sub-region. His passing has been deeply mourned by many affiliates, who have sent heartfelt condolence messages to the office.
