BWI launches compilation of stories and good practices from women in trades

BWI launched a booklet documenting the stories that were shared by women trade unionists who participated at the BWI Women In Trades Exchanges last year. 

Titled “Women in Trades: Sharing Good Practices from Around the World,” the material compiled stories of women construction workers that focused on the poor representation of women in the construction sector and how they developed various efforts and policies to address their challenging situation. 

The compilation was made possible by BWI’s gender coordinators in partnership with trade union affiliates from different parts of the world.
