Hello from the UK, from UNITE the Union.
This is a message to all BWI friends accross our whole family – it’s a global family.
We in Britain are fighting for the construction workers first and foremost to have a safe working environment.
Secondly that they are paid.
Thirdly that they have a job to return to once this crisis is over. If the site be made safe, it must be closed and if it is closed there can be no harm done to the workforce.
COVID-19 isn’t construction workers’ fault, they aren’t responsible and they need a living as anybody else.
I know if we stand united across the globe that we will be able to achieve great things.
It’s a hard struggle but we will get through this, and stronger and better.
With love to you all and to all the essential workers running our health services together we are great.
Take care, stay safe and goodbye from Unite.
