Im Rahmen des diesjährigen Weltfrauentages wird die BHI die Klimagerechtigkeit besonders herausstellen, ebenso wie den gerechten Strukturwandel, die als wesentliche Elemente für eine gendergerechte Zukunft der Arbeit gesehen werden. Dieser Schwerpunkt entspricht dem 5. BHI-Weltkongress, der 2022 beschlossen hat, die Arbeit der BHI viel deutlicher auf Umweltthemen auszurichten; hierbei soll die zentrale Rolle von Frauen bei den Maßnahmen gegen die permanente Bedrohung des Klimawandels für die Erwerbstätigen hervorgehoben werden.
